The proposed federal budget eliminates funding for the 21st Century Community Learning Centers grant—a critical source of support for afterschool programs nationwide, including our own PowerUP! program.
Afterschool programs keep children safe and engaged between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM, providing working parents and guardians with peace of mind and the ability to remain employed.
We need your voice. Contact your elected officials and let them know how essential afterschool care is to our community’s children, families, and future.

Comprehensive After-School Care
North Missouri Center for Youth & Families, Inc. (NMCYF) provides exceptional after-school care for K-6 grade students. In addition to before-school and all-day summer care, NMCYF is open on most snow days and teacher professional development days, ensuring your child's educational and developmental needs are met year-round. Our rotational program includes engaging activities in STEM, Social-Emotional Learning, Art, Physical Education, Community Learning, and personalized tutoring and literacy support.
Mission: NMCYF will exist to serve and strengthen the families of North Missouri by empowering youth to reach their full potential.
Vision: NMCYF will address the needs of children and families in order to INSPIRE academic excellence, CULTIVATE productive citizens, and NURTURE healthy lifestyles.
